To be able to bid on selected lots or use the automatic bidding option, you must first register for the auction and have your registration approved by the organizer.
To bid on the live auction follow the steps below:
1. Log into your OneBid account.
2. Find an auction you successfully registered for.
3. At the appropriate time, join the auction by clicking the Live Bidding button located on the auction page below the title, or the Go to Bidding button found on the page of the selected lot.
4. The real-time bidding button is initially locked. To activate it, click and hold (or tap and hold) and slide it to the right. After a moment, the blue background will disappear and an orange Bid button will appear.
5. Click the Bid button to outbid the current offer with the amount shown on it.
6. The button will show up again once your last bid has been outbid.
Important! The amount on the button updates automatically and shows the value you need to bid, based on the set bid increments. To see the bid increments for a specific auction, go to the section How much does each next bid increase by during theauction?
Important! Clicking the button to win the auction means you are entering into a binding purchase agreement and are required to pay for the lots you have won in that auction.
OneBid allows you to set up an automatic bidding. The user can set limits and offers (Bid now) for selected lots. Detailed information can be found in the following sections: What does placing an offer in the pre-auction involve? What does setting a limit involve? What is the difference between a limit and an offer?
