What is the auction archive?

The OneBid auction archive is a unique and popular part of the platform, serving as a base of valuable knowledge. It allows users to track changes and trends in the art and collectibles market. The archive enables analysis of past auction results, shows which lots were auctioned, and provides information about the prices they achieved. It’s a useful tool for collectors looking to understand the value of their items, as well as for anyone interested in the art market, its history, and its dynamics.

To use the OneBid archive select the Archive tab located in the top menu (on a computer) or in a drop-down menu, in the Menu tab (on a mobile device).

Searching for items in the archive is also possible using the search bar. To use it, follow these steps:

  1. Find search bar located in the top section of the screen (on a computer) or in the top bar under the magnifying glass icon (on a mobile device).
  2. Type in a word or a phrase of interest. Remember about the advanced search option, to have the results tailored to your needs.
  3. Select a category you want to search. Make sure that the Archive option is selected from the drop-down menu on the right side of the search bar.
  4. Confirm your search by hitting the Enter key or clicking the magnifying glass icon on the right side of the search bar.
  5. A list of items matching the searched phrase will be displayed on the screen.
  6. You can use categories and filters available in the side menu (on a computer) or in the drop-down menu, under the Categories and Filters tab (on a mobile device).

You can also use the advanced search option, following the steps outlined in the How does the search bar work? section.
