Work description:
The series "NOT-BO" was created by Jan Dobkowski in 2014-2015. In the works of this series, the painter tried to convey phenomena that are difficult to grasp, which were imagined with the help of light and colors. In the artist's painting from the very beginning, precise line and expression of expression played a big role.
The offered composition "NO-BO XXXXIX" was built using vertical lines rhythmically separated into short sections in the central part of the picture field. Significantly, the golden color of the ground contributes to the striking luminosity of the whole. The painting contains an understated vitality that is characteristic of Jan Dobkowski's work.
